Spending time in the coutryside is a relaxing experience. One evening I just took my Fuji GS645 rangefinder and went for a stroll to capture some casual shots.

Fuji GS645S Professional Wide 60 6x4.5 Medium Format camera - how's that for a mouthful?
I've never shot any kind of medium format so when I had an opportunity to pick this one up, it seemed too good a chance to miss and I'll look forward to trying it in due course.
The Fuji GS645S Professional Wide60 was released 1 October 1984 and is a rangefinder camera that uses a newly designed EBC Fujion W 60mm f/4 Orthometar-type lens comprised of 7 elements in 5 groups, mounted in a mechanical Copal 00 shutter[1]. The 60mm lens was chosen with snapshots in the city, or group pictures in mind, for which Fuji received user feedback saying the 45mm was too wide.[1] The lens is a 35mm equivalent to 35mm, with a 49mm filter thread. Aperture stops on the lens include 22, 16, 11, 8, 5.6, and 4. In the case of the S version it is protected by a circular "cow bar" (or roo bar if you're Australian!). The light meter has a measuring range of 4 to 18 EV and can be set from 25 to 1600 ISO in 1/3 stops. The finder contains a coupled type double image rangefinder for focusing. A 0.5x magnification with a 40 mm baseline which is a 20 mm effective baseline. Bright lines are present with automatic parallax correction to assist in framing. Advertised as in 'excellent condition' but if your definition of 'excellent condition' means a working camera then it's not. The shutter is broke.

I'm still looking for an extremely portable medium format camera as my every day camera. A folder should do it. So I give this GS545 a try. I know about all quirks with it. So far, it seems to have light leaks and biggest issue: it doesn't open its lens completely all the time. I still hope, it will come more with using. I got the impression, the more I shoot, even without film, the more reliable it opens.
Here is a new toy to satisfy my film addiction. Long ago I had a Fuji 6x7 rangefinder so this is very familiar.
